My Soul Magnifies The Lord

Luke 1: 46

46And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

49For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

51He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

52He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

53He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

54He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

55As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

Mary, the mother of the Lord Jesus Christ, blesses me. She blessed the Lord. My soul magnifies the LORD and my spirit rejoices in God, my savior.

My Glory and the Lifter Up of My Head

Psa 3:4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
Psa 3:1 LORD, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Psa 3:2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
Psa 3:3 But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.Psa 3:4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
Psa 3:5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
Psa 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
Psa 3:7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Psa 3:8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

Those who seek him, cry out to him, will PRAISE HIM. Not whine with no faith.
[Psa 22:26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever. ]


Consider Jesus Christ...

Heb 2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Heb 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
Heb 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Heb 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
Heb 2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
Heb 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Heb 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
Heb 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Heb 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Heb 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
Heb 2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.]


Dont consider yourself. Consider Jesus, and believe and pray without ceasing and fight until it passes.

God has put some women in my heart: women that have a testimony. Remember Hannah whose heart was breaking. She did not go to her husband to 'make it all alright', she went to God, her heavenly father. There is something that happens when I lay down on the floor with my head against the earth, crying out to the God of my help. He hears and answers. Hannah did not have a man to help her, she had the God of Israel; and that was alright. The God that has the courage to help a woman that is in distress.
He is my glory and the one who lifts up my head. He will lift up your head and your countenance will no longer be downcast.
Mary said of the Lord, "Be it unto me, according to your word".
The woman with the issue of blood said "if I touch but the hem of his garment, I shall be made whole".
Joechebed, the mother of Moses, put her son in a basket on the river Nile. She trusted in God to save her child from death.
Rahab saved her entire household: she trusted and was full of courage for the cause of the God of the Hebrews.
The Hebrew women trusted him and received strength to bear: it was written of them that the Hebrew women are lively. They be delivered ere the midwife gets there.
The Shunnamite woman said to the man of God, do not lie to me-man of God. Her husband gave her a dying child, and she went after the man of God and got that boy brought back to life.
God has put in a woman the heart and courage to cry for herself and her children...to cry and He hears and answers.
Sarah received strength to bear a son in her old age, judging Him faithful that promised. God preserved her life from apparent childlessness and from the courts of Pharaoh and Abimelech. She was not defiled in the courts of Pharaoh because the Lord looked upon her.
Leah was blessed with sons, including Judah, of the line of the Lord Jesus. She was hated and unfavored by her husband, but the Lord loved her. She was in a contest with her sister Rachel and she won.
Esther put her life on the line for her people in the name of the Lord God of Israel. Her life was preserved and she was favored of the King. Her people were delivered from their enemies because God raised up a woman 'for such a time as this'.
Jael was full of courage to annihilate the enemy that lay in her tent. In the strenght of the Lord she did not flinch.
Zipporah stood between the Lord and his servant Moses. In wisdom and graceful courage, she saved the lives of her husband and her sons.
Abigail saved the lives of all the males in her household from death by the sword of David. David remembered her and protected her in his house. She begged for the life of her wicked husband Nabal, and God gave her a man after His own heart for a husband.

God thinks on the lives and affairs of women...

So Put on Your Garment of Praise

1Jo 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

2Co 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isa 61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Now put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Worship God and be thankful. The price has been paid, if you can believe. I encourage you to consider this gospel , the death, burial and ressurection of the Lord Jesus as described in 1 Corinthians 15:1
1Co 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Out of Every Kindred, and Tongue, and People, and Nation.

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

(just about the time you begin to have regard for what you are in the flesh, what you are all about, from, your heritage, culture, nation, whatever. Jehovah has no regard for your flesh or the heritage of the flesh that you inherited. He called us OUT, that we may worship him in Spirit and in truth.)

1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
1Co 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Co 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
