Unto Him Who Is Able

Now unto HIM who is able to keep us from falling and to make us stand in HIS presence blameless and with great joy, to the only GOD our father, and to Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and majesty, dominion and authority both now and ever AMEN.

The Scripture commands me to train up my children in the way that they should go and when they are grown up, they will not be able to depart from it. I want them to know the Love of God that I knew as a child. The comfort of the FATHER in heaven as I did in the absence of my earthly father. I want them to know HIM, to walk with HIM, to love HIM to be comforted by HIM, to never be lonely because I never was.
I want them to walk on a hiking trail and talk to him as a man talks to his friend.
I want them to believe in HIM and believe HIM. HE loved me and I want them to know that HE loves them. I don't want to try to sell them the love of God, I want them to know it for themselves. I want them to cry and not need anyone to see their tears but the FATHER, I want them to be comforted in their difficulties; to feel the warmth of the love of GOD.

HE loved me and was a constant companion for me in the days of my youth. I would not be without HIM and they would be miserable without HIM.

Here are some words of a hymn that I love.....

Here is love, vast as the ocean,
Lovingkindness as the flood,
When the Prince of Life, our Ransom,
Shed for us His precious blood.
Who His love will not remember?
Who can cease to sing His praise?
He can never be forgotten,
Throughout Heav’n’s eternal days.

On the mount of crucifixion,
Fountains opened deep and wide;
Through the floodgates of God’s mercy
Flowed a vast and gracious tide.
Grace and love, like mighty rivers,
Poured incessant from above,
And Heav’n’s peace and perfect justice
Kissed a guilty world in love.
