VENUS CATASTROPHES.
Have you
ever visited Venus?
It must be
better than the Deans-Us,
We’re
dreaming of visiting there,
How wonderfully
we’ll fare!
We’ve found
our mistake!
It’s like a
burning lake!
We’re
getting holes in our trousers,
Have we been
here for hours?
Volcanoes in
the way!
What can we
say?
We are not doing well,
That we can tell.
We can’t even swim!
Our eyes are beginning to dim,
In our bad plight,
We can’t even fight.
We’ve got too much air!
Venus doesn’t care!
She’s really got us caught,
We’ll leave our poem, very distraught!
(The “Deans-Us” is a place where
you get milk, foolish, right?)
THE END.
